SOMSHA
CASE STUDY ยท DUBAI

Studio One

A property with warmth, personality and thoughtful touches, assessed through the moments where operational response and service recovery most influence how a stay is remembered.

What was examined

Arrival, front-desk warmth, valet interaction, room comfort, hot-water and pressure experience, guest-request response times, F&B service and recovery, public-area upkeep and sustainability touches.

What the diagnostic surfaced

The strongest moments reflected personality and care. The most important opportunities sat in service recovery, responsiveness and room-comfort consistency, where a guest's tolerance can shift quickly after one unresolved failure.

How SOMSHA worked

The guest journey was documented, translated into an S-GES management report and formally presented to the General Manager with a prioritised training and intervention plan.

Why this matters

A hotel's reputation is shaped by cumulative moments. The role of the diagnostic is to make those moments visible early enough for leadership to act before they repeat.

Measure the guest journey before the reviews do.
